PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing system of a boiler fuel from ligneous biomass that can efficiently carbonize and grind ligneous biomass and feed it as a fuel to power generation equipment or the like. SOLUTION: The manufacturing system of the boiler fuel from ligneous biomass comprises coarsely grinding ligneous biomass after carbonized by a preparatory grinder, removing foreign matter and then finely grinding it into a fuel by a vertical grinder, where the ligneous biomass after carbonized is granulated into pellets by a roller granulating machine after finely ground by the vertical grinder. Thus, the ligneous biomass after carbonized is thrown into the granulating machine and is pelletized into a shape exhibiting excellent storability and transportability. The roller granulating machine has a simple structure allowing ready maintenance and is suitable for pelletizing the ground ligneous biomass after carbonized by the vertical grinder.
