PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape which is excellent in initial adhesion, loses adhesion by heating to readily self-peel from an adherend, and provides little contamination from the adhesive on the surface of the adherend. SOLUTION: The pressure-sensitive adhesive tape comprises a base film and an adhesive layer formed on at least one surface of the base film. The adhesive layer comprises a copolymer as a base resin and a thermal expansion agent, wherein at least one of the monomer components of the copolymer is an alkyl (meth)acrylate, and the alkyl group is a cycloaliphatic hydrocarbon group.
