PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing 3-amino-6-chloropyridazine. SOLUTION: The method for producing 3-amino-6-chloropyridazine is to react 3, 6-dichloropyridazine with ammonia in the presence of a water soluble 5-1000C polyether. As the water soluble 5-1000C polyether, diethylene glycol dimethyl ether, diethylene glycol diethyl ether, triethylene glycol dimethyl ether, polyethylene glycol dimethyl ether and the like are cited.
