A system and a method for providing an ingression/egression notification service are provided to construct a very small-sized wireless location measuring network at a low coast and with low power by using Zigbee technology, and exactly measure the location of a monitored terminal, thereby informing a supervisor of the fact that a monitored person enters or leaves from a specific area. A system for providing an ingression/egression notification service comprises the followings: an area indication signal generator(110) for generating a beacon signal including location identification information; an area indication signal receiver(120); a monitored terminal(130) for transmitting the location identification information received from the area indication signal receiver(120) and monitored terminal identification information to a location information managing server(150); the location information managing server(150) which extracts monitoring terminal identification information from the monitored terminal identification information, and generates ingression/egression information based on the location identification information before transmitting the monitoring terminal identification information and the ingression/egression information to a message providing server(160); and the message providing server(160). |
