<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent toner in a toner cartridge from being melted, solidified, and fixed therein due to the temperature rising of the toner cartridge. <P>SOLUTION: The temperature in the image forming apparatus 10 is detected by a temperature sensor 84. When the temperature in the image forming apparatus 10 reaches a predetermined value or more, an agitator 76 is rotated to stir the toner in a toner cartridge 52. Thus, even when the toner stored in the toner cartridge 52 is melted because the temperature in the image forming apparatus 10 rises, the toner is prevented from being fixed in the toner cartridge 52 and from being solidified each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
