<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the plotting speed of an optical disk by improving an aberration generated when plotting images on the label surface of the optical disk by irradiating it with a laser beam. <P>SOLUTION: The optical disk comprises a substrate, a recording layer for recording data, a plotting layer capable of plotting the images by the laser beam radiated from a label surface side which is the opposite side of a data recording surface, and a cover layer provided on the plotting layer directly or through another layer.
