<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fused protein of Fc domains with biologically active peptides and a method to prepare a medical agent using a biologically active peptide. <P>SOLUTION: The invention relates to the pharmacologically active compounds prepared by (a) selecting at least a peptide that modulates the activity of a protein of interest and (b) preparing a pharmacologic substance having an Fc domain covalently linked to at least an amino acid of the selected peptide. Linkage to the vehicle increases the half-life of the peptide, which otherwise would be quickly degraded in vivo. The preferable vehicle is the Fc domain.
