PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet type motor capable of reducing eddy current loss and facilitating assembly work. SOLUTION: This permanent magnet type motor is constituted by embedding, into the inside of a rotor, a permanent magnet 3 formed alternately with slits 301, 302 extending from sides 31, 32 which are substantially orthogonal to the front surface 33 and the rear surface 34 of the permanent magnet 3 and face each other to sides 32, 31 that face each other, on the front surface 33 or the rear surface 34 of the permanent magnet 3 orthogonal to the radial direction of the rotor.
