PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deter the oscillation state of an output from being generated, and to perform current mode control, using a small-scaled circuit by dispensing with slope compensation. SOLUTION: This switching regulator comprises a switching element 9; a first error amplifier 12, that amplifies a difference voltage between an output voltage from the switching element 9 and a first reference voltage; a current detection circuit 13 for detecting the current that corresponds to the output current from the switching element 9; a second error amplifier 17, that amplifies the output of the current detection circuit 13; a voltage-current conversion circuit that converts output voltages of the first and second error amplifiers 12, 17 to currents; and a current-controlled type PWM controller 16 that modulates a transmission signal of an oscillation circuit, from the current value outputted form the voltage-current conversion circuit.
