PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal capable of preventing an information leak when lost. SOLUTION: When various erasure conditions previously set to the mobile terminal are met, data are erased under the control of the mobile terminal itself. The data erasure is controlled not by an external network etc., but by the mobile terminal itself to reduce the risk that information leaks to a third person when the it can not be controlled through the network or before the user recognizes that the mobile terminal is lost after losing it. Further, the data to be erased are saved, for example, in another computer device so as to be restored by being uploaded to a server device on the network to prevent information from leaking from the mobile terminal without deteriorating user's convenience.
