PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search for a desired program when an EPG is changed into a latest EPG, even if the title of the desired program is changed. SOLUTION: A reservation device (2) obtains an EPG indicating information on several programs. Information is stored in a storing device (3) as recording reservation or viewing reservation, on a program to be reserved including a character string to be reserved indicating the title of the program to be reserved and broadcast date to be reserved when the program to be reserved is broadcasted. When the EPG is changed into the latest EPG; a search control device (1) calculates the degree of title similarity showing the similarity of the character string to be reserved with respect to character strings of information on several programs indicated by the latest EPG, and calculates the degree of broadcast date similarity showing the similarity of the broadcast date to be reserved with respect to broadcast dates of the information on the several programs indicated by the latest EPG. The search control device (1) searches one piece of program information out of the several pieces of program information indicated by the latest EPG according to the title similarity and the broadcast date similarity, and stores it as information on the program to be reserved in the storing device (3).
