PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst having a high photocatalytic activity capable of efficiently decomposing ethylene which is known as a substance giving a significant influence for retaining freshness of agricultural products such as vegetables and fruits and cut flowers even at indoor with poor sunlight. SOLUTION: The high active photocatalyst body excellent in photolysis of the ethylene is obtained by integrating a titanium dioxide composite body produced from anatase type particulate titanium dioxide and ammonium sulfate with ceramics.
