PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paint condition/coating condition determination device for multicolored pattern coats which can efficiently, precisely compute paint conditions and coating conditions under which desired multicolored pattern coats are formed, and also provide a determination method, a determination program, and a recording medium thereof. SOLUTION: This is a device which determines paint conditions and coating conditions for simultaneously applying a plurality of paints having different visual characteristics to generate multicolored pattern coats. In addition, the device is provided with a processing means (101) and an image displaying means (102). The processing means (101) finds image characteristic quantities of multicolored pattern coats, which are expected to form under the above conditions, from the paint conditions and coating conditions of a plurality of designated paints, generates CG images by using the image characteristic quantities, and displays the CG images on the displaying means (102). When receiving prescribed instructions, the processing means (101) determines the paint conditions and coating conditions, which are used for generating the CG images displayed on the displaying device (102), as the conditions for generating the multicolored pattern coats.
