PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient hair dryer with excellent effects of stimulating hair roots, capable of sufficiently rounding the tips of comb teeth so that a risk of injuring the scalp can be eliminated, and capable of reducing the load of a fan by composing a channel for reducing the resistance against the blowing air. SOLUTION: The hair dryer has a hair dryer body 11 in which a heat source 18, the fan 20a and a motor 19 for driving the fan 20a are disposed, and a comb-shaped attachment 16 is attached to an air outlet disposed at the distal end of the hair dryer body 11. The comb-shaped attachment 16 comprises a sheet-like front base plate 16b disposed in the direction of extension of the air outlet and a plurality of hollow and cylindrical comb teeth 16c projecting from the front base plate 16b.
