PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a memory consumption necessary for storing a plurality of screens containing a common image. SOLUTION: A system control part 21a reports touch operation of a screen change-over switch for designating a screen to be switched to a screen switching control part 21b. The control part 21b reads, in response thereto, screen data corresponding to the screen change-over switch and partial screen data of an area (partial screen) common to each screen of superposing screens from an FEPROM 22b, and instructs the system control part 21a to display the screen data and the partial screen data. When a screen change-over switch for designating another screen is touched, the control part 21 similarly reads screen data corresponding to the screen change-over switch and the same partial screen data as the above. Since only one area common to each screen is stored separately from each screen, the conventional memory consumption by duplicate storage of the common area can be reduced.
