A rail mount system for holding objects, especially planar bodies such as solar modules or collectors, comprises a rail shape (2) having at least two sections (4) in the long direction, at least one spring clamp (3) to hold the rail to a base and/or hold the objects to the rail. There are two holding limbs (7) on opposite sides of the rail so that the spring clamp is fixed to the rail.
