PHOTOCURABLE INK COMPOSITION FOR INK-JET PRINTING

Disclosed is a photocurable ink composition for use in ink-jet printing, which shows a good cationic polymerization curability even when irradiated with visible light as well as ultraviolet ray and has no wrinkle when cured into a thick film. In the photocurable ink composition, a cationically polymerizable compound is cured by photopolymerization. The composition comprises 2 to 10% by mass of at least one cation polymerization initiator capable of expressing a function as an initiator by irradiation with light having a wavelength less than 400 nm and 0.5 to 3% by mass of at least one sensitizer capable of expressing a sensitizing function by irradiation with light having a wavelength of 400 nm or higher.
