Synthetic high temperature lubricant, for the lubrication of chains, comprises a synthetic basic oil mixture comprising trimellitate ester-element, polyolester-element and complex ester-element; an additive package comprising corrosion inhibitor e.g. dicarboxilic acid ester; high pressure additives e.g. esters of phosphoric acid; antioxidants; colored metal-deactivator and a wear reducing agent.
