<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretching exercise device allowing a user to obtain a sufficient stretching effect on the shoulder region (from the scapula to the shoulder joint) or on the hip joints. <P>SOLUTION: The stretching exercise device comprises a back support part 2 at the center to be in contact with the head part H1 and the spinal cord in the trunk of the user H lying on the back, limb contact surface parts 3 on the left and right sides to which hands and feet H4 and H5 of the spreading limbs of the user H are in contact with, and a lifting means 4 for changing the height of the back support part 2 relative to the limb contact surface parts 3. By increasing the height of the back support part 2 relative to the limb contact surface parts 3, difference in height is generated between the positions of the head H1 and at least part of the trunk of the body around the spiral cord and the positions of the tips of the hands and feet H4 and H5 of the user H. As a result, the weight of the hands and feet H4 and H5 of the user H himself/herself is applied to the shoulder region (from the scapula to the shoulder joint) and the hip joints and the regions around the joints are stretched/contracted, so that the user can obtain the sufficient stretching effect. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
