<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure which permits the restraining of image quality from deteriorating due to the reservation of calibration while improving ease of use to a user. <P>SOLUTION: The compound machine 1 permits the performance of calibration during a period from the start of a printing job to the end and is designed to reserve the performance of calibration during the printing job in a prescribed case.
