<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the temperature of an appliance while restricting embedding height, in a downlight embedded in an embedding hole of a ceiling. <P>SOLUTION: This downlight 1 is provided, in an appliance body 2 having a top plate 9 on the upper surface, with a heat shield plate 3 molded integrally with a frame body covering an opening edge part thereof, and provided with an auxiliary top plate 10 attached to the upper surface of the heat shield plate 3. The auxiliary top plate 10 is projected from the appliance body 2 by crossing an insertion hole 21 of the appliance body 2 and arranged so as to be nearly flush with the top plate 9. The auxiliary top plate 10 pushes up a heat insulation material 20 under the roof together with the top plate 9. By increasing the length at which the heat insulation material 20 is pushed up like that, the volume of a part covered with the heat insulation material 20 can be widely ensured without increasing the embedding height of the appliance. Thereby, the heat of the downlight 1 can be radiated in the secured space, whereby the temperature of the appliance can be lowered. Since the top plate 9 and the auxiliary top plate 10 are separately installed, they can be installed without changing the diameter of the embedding hole 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
