<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an orientation defect-free optically anisotropic body and a polymerizable liquid crystal composition capable of preparing the optically anisotropic body. <P>SOLUTION: The polymerizable liquid crystal composition containing a liquid crystal compound having a polymerizable group comprises a (meth)acrylic copolymer (H) having a side chain having a fluorine group and a side chain having one of a benzene ring, a cyclohexane ring, a cyclohexene ring, and a 6-membered heterocylcle, and a mass average molecular weight of 10,000-300,000.
