PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of promptly recognizing the photography of an image whose quality has deteriorated by camera shake occurring in a camera body in photographing. SOLUTION: The apparatus includes an imaging optical system for forming the optical image of an object; a light receiver for receiving the optical image of the object formed by the imaging optical system; a camera shake detector for detecting the amount of camera shake in the optical axis of the imaging optical system; and an output for relating camera shake detection information, based on the amount of camera shake detected by the camera shake detector during an exposure period to the light receiver to image information based on the received optical image of the object for output.
