PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for the preparation of a polyurethane foam that has such high reactivity as to reduce an amount of an amine catalyst to be added and has viscosity low enough to have good miscibility with other components. SOLUTION: The composition for the preparation of a polyurethane foam comprises a reactive polyol represented by formula (1); R1[(R2O)n-R2-N-[(R3O)m-H]2]k wherein R1is a 20C or less active hydrogen-containing group having k active hydrogens; R2and R3are each independently at least one kind of 2-4C alkylene group; k is an integer of 2-8; m and n are each independently a value calculated respectively from a hydroxyl value, and m is a number of 0.1-3 and n is a number of 2-70.
