PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-reliability camera system that eliminates problems related to system operations and has superior functionality. SOLUTION: Hosts 20-1 and 20-2 follow a procedure of acquiring the right for access control over cameras 10A to 10H. The cameras 10A to 10H has a processing function of allowing reading/writing from a host (for example, 20-1) having acquired the right for control and reading from a host (for example, 20-2) which has not acquired the right for control.
