PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a numerical control device, capable of reducing time load of an identifier. SOLUTION: When Z-axial minus direction is selected in an axial selection switch, and 50% is selected in a quantity selection switch, a tool moves in a direction of approaching a work (fixture) in Z axis at half a speed described in a machining program. Three movements shown by arrows A, B and E are performed further more slowly at a speed of 500 mm/min. The moving speed is changed slow only for a specific movement(movement in the direction of approaching the work), and the other movements are performed at a normal moving speed.
