HEAT EXCHANGER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING HEAT EXCHANGER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the joint strength of a part integrally joined with and coupled to a heat exchanger via a bracket with the heat exchanger in such a state that a tank cap and the bracket of the heat exchanger are temporarily fixed without lowering the bracket strength and increasing manufacturing costs. SOLUTION: In a state that the tank cap 23 and the bracket 24 are temporarily caulk-fastened by a pin member 25 to block the end of a first refrigerant header tank 14 of an evaporator 1, and integrally brazed to the temporarily assembled evaporator 1. The evaporator 1 and a radiator 2 for an electric part are combined via the bracket 24 so as to shorten a fastening distance so that the joint strength of the evaporator 1 with the radiator 2 for the electric part is obtained.
