PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately perform drive support for a driver when he/she starts a vehicle. SOLUTION: This drive support system 1 performs a warning operation when a driver places a gear into "rear" when he/she starts an engine to start a vehicle after he/she places the gear into "rear" back the vehicle and completes parking to back the vehicle and parks the vehicle in such a parking space that an obstacle exists behind it.
