PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a male tool, engaged with a recessed fastening hole of a socket type fastener having the recessed fastening hole to turn the socket type fastener and fasten the same, preventing the structure from being complicated, and reducing the risk that a mover idles in non-use. SOLUTION: This male tool includes: a base 1 having a guide part 10; and energizing elements 41, 42 for energizing the plurality of movers 21, 31 of the male tool to a working position or a retreat position. The movers 21, 31 are provided with male outer wall surfaces 22, 32 different in diameter size, and disposed on the guide part 10 of the base 1 to slide in one direction and the other direction.
