PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water feeding device for an endoscope which facilitates the visual checking of the residual amount of stored water in a water feeding bottle even in a dark endoscopic examination room. SOLUTION: This water feeding device for the endoscope has the semi-transparent or transparent water feeding bottle 20 which stores water to be jetted from the distal end of the insertion section of the endoscope. The water feeding device is provided with a floating indicium 26 which is visually checked from outside of the water feeding bottle 20 by being displaced with the displacement of the water level while floating on the surface of the water 30 being stored in the water feeding bottle 20. The outer peripheral surface of the floating indicium 26 is provided with an index line 29 having a different color from the surroundings in conformity with the position of the water level.
