<p>In an elevator device, a drive device is placed at the upper part of a hoistway such that the rotation shaft of a drive sheave is vertical. An elevator car suspension section to which a main rope is connected is provided on the upper part of the car. A car pulley for guiding the main rope to the car suspension section is placed at the upper part of the hoistway. The drive sheave and the car pulley are arranged in a vertical projection plane, inside the region of the car.</p> |
