<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording and reproducing device capable of shortening activation time even when an optical disk is newly inserted into an information recording and reproducing device when it is the optical disk used in the information recording and reproducing device before. <P>SOLUTION: The recording and reproducing device of the optical disk 101 loaded with an RFID chip comprises: an ID storage part 113 for storing an ID number unique to the recording and reproducing device beforehand; an RFID reader-writer 112 for reading and writing information from/to the RFID chip loaded on the optical disk; an ID comparison part 114 for comparing the ID number read by it and the ID number recorded in the ID storage part; and a CPU 109 for performing the activation processing of the optical disk by using a disk type and an automatic adjustment value recorded on the read RFID chip as a disk discrimination result and an automatic adjustment result when the ID numbers match as the result of ID comparison. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
