<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light diffusing plate to be used for a transmissive screen or the like, the diffusing plate that causes substantially no scintillation and can give an image with high luminance, high resolution and high quality even when a bright light source having directional light beams such as a liquid crystal projector is used as a projection source, and to provide a lenticular lens plate and a transmissive screen having the above diffusing plate. <P>SOLUTION: The light diffusing plate to be used for a transmissive screen comprising a combination of a lenticular lens and at least a Fresnel lens plate is characterized in that the diffusing plate has a multilayer structure of two or more layers comprising a transmitting resin material, and that at least one interface in the interfaces of the layers is formed as a fine rugged face having a surface area ratio of over 1 with respect to a mirror surface.
