<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for inputting characters written on the surface of the hand by a finger or a stylus into an information processing device, as people called deaf and blind are visually disabled as well as hearing-impaired, and the easiest character information means for these people is to read ink characters written on the hand by a finger by tactile sensation of the hand; and to enable to be hardly effected by protrusions and recesses on the surface of the skin upon the reading. <P>SOLUTION: An input region of a size that fits in the hand is provided, and an input device having a structure provided with a sensor for detecting an instruction position by the finger or the stylus in the input region. The input device is set on the hand (on the surface or thereabove), and with the finger or the stylus, by writing characters accompanying tactile sensation of the skin on the surface of the hand, the characters are inputted to the information processing device through the sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
