<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering lock device capable of making fraudulent unlocking of a locked state of a steering lock difficult. <P>SOLUTION: An electric power steering 17 to impart operation auxiliary force to a steering wheel by a power steering motor 18 is mounted on a vehicle. An electric steering lock 5 to inhibit the operation of the steering wheel at the time of parking the vehicle is mounted on the vehicle. The electric steering lock 5 is made into a locked state by locking a lock bar 31 on a joint 19 functioning as a locked member provided on a motor shaft 18b of the power steering motor 18.
