<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid continuity failure between a terminal and a substrate by improving the alignment of the terminal and preventing the separation of the through-hole of the substrate in a terminal component, such as a junction block for automobiles. <P>SOLUTION: A terminal holding piece 12 of the terminal 1 is pressed into a terminal holding hole 22 in the substrate 2. Then, two continuity pieces 13 of the terminal 1 are inserted into two continuity holes 23 of the substrate 2 for soldering to a circuit conductor 24. Then, by the press-in of the terminal holding piece 12, the terminal 1 is tentatively fixed to the substrate 2, the terminal 1 makes continuity with the substrate 2 reliably by the soldering of the continuity piece 13, and the terminal 1 is actually fixed to the substrate 2. The terminal 1 is supported at three points in the substrate 2, thus self-supporting the terminal 1 stably as compared with a one-point support and a two-point support. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
