<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To favorably separate deposit such as sand or refuse sticking to a housed article such as marine products, vegetables, especially littleneck clams and hard clams, or especially excretion discharged by marine products, and to enable the isolation and the removal to be favorably performed. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of recessed grooves are provided on the bottom wall of a box body, and the depth of the recessed grooves are changed for this container made of an expanded synthetic resin. The container made of the expanded synthetic resin adopts a constitution that the depth of the recessed groove on a side wall on one side of confronted side walls is made smaller, and the depth of the recessed groove is gradually made larger as the side wall come closer on the other side.
