PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which is capable of preventing a touch defect and gravity defect and has a stable structure resistant to a push test, a method for manufacturing the same and spacer structure of the display device. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate 100 and a second substrate 200 arranged to face each other; gate lines 101 and data lines 102 crossing each other on the first substrate 100 to define a pixel area, a thin film transistor formed at intersection parts between the gate lines 101 and the data lines 102, protrusions 120 formed on the first substrate 100 corresponding to a predetermined portion of the gate lines 101 having a recess therein; a first column spacer formed on the second substrate 200 corresponding to the protrusions 120; a second column spacer 220 formed corresponding to the gate lines 101 on which the protrusion 120 is not formed and a liquid crystal layer filled between the first substrate 100 and the second substrate 200.
