PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video recording apparatus capable of deleting video recording reservation information for a video recording for one time only which has not been executed without the need for user's operation and effectively utilizing storage areas because no useless video recording reservation information is left in the storage areas. SOLUTION: The video recording apparatus includes: a reservation section for managing the video reservation information in cross reference with an execution propriety flag; a recording section for executing video recording on the basis of the video reservation information of the reservation section; and a reservation pause execution discrimination section that discriminates whether or not the video reservation information associated with the execution propriety flag is executed by the recording section at a video recording execution time and outputs management information to the reservation section on the basis of the result.
