PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite filter for display excellent in transparency, and to provide a method for manufacturing a high transparency composite filter inexpensively with a favorable yield by reducing the burden of a facility or an extra material through a short process and preventing bubbles from mixing into a mesh opening. SOLUTION: In the composite filter for display where at least a conductor mesh layer 12 having a mesh-like region, an adhesive layer 22, and an optical filter 21 are formed in this order on one side of a transparent substrate 11, a height at a line in the mesh-like region of the conductor mesh layer 12 is 3μm or lower, the width of an opening in the mesh-like region is 150μm or larger, and the adhesive layer 22 is formed of an adhesive having a storage modulus E'(Pa) at 20°C of dynamic viscoelasticity at a frequency of 1 Hz not higher than 9.5×10<SP>5</SP>.
