PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method capable of providing a conductive material high in both transparency and conductivity and excellent in productivity, in a manufacturing method of a conductive material. SOLUTION: In relation to a conductive material precursor including one or more silver halide emulsion layers on a support body, this application uses this conductive material precursor characterized in that sol fraction within the whole hydrophilic binder in the silver halide emulsion layer is not less than 10 mass%.
