PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens control system which allows effective use of display of an index or the like added to an endlessly turning operation member or the like on the assumption that a correspondence relation between a rotation position of the operation member and a set position of a movable lens like a focusing lens is invariable, by moving the movable lens to a prescribed position in response to setting the operation member to a prescribed rotation position even in the case that the correspondence relation between the rotation position of the operation member and the position of the movable lens set for this rotation position is varied. SOLUTION: When a focusing knob 32 is set to a prescribed rotation position, a reset signal is given from a photo interrupter 44 to a lens CPU 16 of a lens device 10.
