PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge which can stably feed ink to a recording head without generating blocking of an ink flow passage. SOLUTION: For example, if an upper flow passage 941 is formed nearly circular seen from a perpendicular direction to a paper surface, the flow passage is blocked by bubbles grown larger than an inner diameter of the upper flow passage 941 because the bubble included in the ink is a sphere. The ink cannot be sent to an inkjet printer 1710 if the flow passage of the ink is blocked by the spherical bubbles. However, an opening face of the upper flow passage 941 is formed nearly quadrangular, whereby four corners of the upper flow passage 941 are prevented from being blocked even if the bubbles grown large stay at the opening face of the upper flow passage 941.
