PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder capable of obtaining a suitable discharge-quantity of an ink. SOLUTION: The inkjet recorder comprises a pressure sensor 16 for detecting the pressure applied to the ink at driving a pump 12. A purge control processing (S100) for discharging the target quantity of the ink is performed by controlling the amount of driving of the pump 12 according to the pressure applied to the ink that is detected by the pressure sensor 16. In the purge control processing (S100), the pump 12 is controlled based on the amount of driving established beforehand according to the variation of the pressure applied to the ink that is detected by the pressure sensor 12 (S160 to S200) with driving the pump 12 (S130).
