PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid enlargement of a size of a drive circuit and to reduce a cycle of ejecting an ink droplet from one nozzle by precisely correcting an ejection characteristic of an ink droplet from a nozzle in a nozzle array. SOLUTION: Drive waveform signals WCOM1-WCOM8 are arranged by each four signals in a time series manner to form two drive signals COM1, COM2, and then the drive signals COM1, COM2 are synchronously output. As one or more of the drive waveform signals WCOM1-WCOM8 are selected from the output two drive signals COM1, COM2 to be supplied to a piezoelectric actuator 22 of a nozzle which is ready to eject an ink droplet, it is possible to precisely correct the ejection characteristic of the ink droplet from the nozzle in the nozzle array by virtue of the combination of the selected drive waveform signals WCOM1-WCOM8, and unnecessary enlargement of the drive circuit can be avoided at the same time. In addition, by selecting the drive waveform signals WCOM1-WCOM8 from the two drive signals COM1, COM2, it is possible to reduce a cycle of ejecting the ink droplets from one nozzle.
