PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping motor which can further be miniaturized. SOLUTION: The stepping motor 1 is arranged, such that a pair of stators 7A and 7B hold a rotor 5 between in the direction of axis L, and has the advantage that the diameter of a housing 25 can be reduced. Since electrical insulation between air-core coils 9A, 9B and the bases 14A, 14B, 16A, 16B of the outer and the inner yokes, and electrical insulation between the coils and sleeves 31, 33 are achieved by first through third insulating resin sheets 40a-40c, 42a-42c, bobbinless coils 9A, 9B can be obtained, the coils 9A, 9B can be enlarged in the radial direction and in the axial direction to increase the number of turns, thereby the output can be increased, at the same time, while maintaining the size, the motor can also be miniaturized while maintaining the output.
