PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image input/output system appropriate for a system which performs print processing, by reducing write/read access competition of order data including image data. SOLUTION: An image input/output system comprises: a first image input section to which order data are inputted; a second image input section to which the order data are inputted via an input route different from the first image input section; an image storage device 6 wherein the order data inputted from these image input sections are written for each order; a print processing control section 5b for giving a command of print processing to order data; and a data input/output control section 61 for controlling read/write of order data to the image storage device 6. The image storage device 6 is comprised of first/second spooler 6a, 6b operable independently, and the data input/output control section 61 writes the order data inputted from the image input sections into the first/second spooler 6a, 6b and reads the order data from the first/second spooler 6a, 6b in accordance with the command of the print processing control section 5b.
