摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flux gate type magnetic sensor that improves the measurement accuracy of the input magnetic field and eliminates the influence of noise voltage, by determining a digital peak value corresponding to the true peak value of a detecting coil signal. SOLUTION: The magnetic sensor comprises a magnetic field detecting section 1 formed of a magnetic core 1a, an exciting coil 1b and a detecting coil 1c, an excitation circuit 2 for outputting an excitation voltage V<SB>2</SB>, a real peak value detecting section 3 including an alternating current amplifier 3a, a peak timing detecting circuit 3b and an A/D converter 3c, a clock generator 4, and a digital processing section 5 for detecting digital peak value 107 of a detection coil signal 104 and outputting a magnetic value 109 that indicates input magnetic field Hin. The peak timing detecting circuit 3b extracts, by using a signal 106, a peak timing at which the true peak value of the detecting coil signal 104 occurs.
