PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kit for immuno-chromatography having low possibility that a hand will touch an absorption part directly. SOLUTION: This kit for immuno-chromatography is equipped with a test container having an inlet at one end thereof for receiving a specimen, and a test tool for immuno-chromatography used by being inserted into the test container through the inlet. The test tool is equipped with a specimen addition part immersed in the specimen housed in the test container, a label-holding part for holding a labeled substance causing an antigen-antibody reaction with a substance under detection in the specimen, a determination part with a substance for fixation fixed thereto for causing an antigen-antibody reaction with the substance under detection, and the absorption part for absorbing the specimen having passed through the determination part. The test tool is equipped with a tubular cover member with vent holes in its sidewall, having a length causing at least a part of the absorption part to be positioned outside the test container, when the test tool is inserted in the test container, being mountable on or connectable to the inlet side of the test container, and being capable of covering a part of the test tool positioned outside the test container.
