PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pouch container the opening performance of which has improved so as to prevent its stored contents from splashing or scattering when the pouch container is opened. SOLUTION: The pouch container includes a storage section obtained by forming a flexible sheet into a bag. The pouch container also includes a cuttable portion designed such that part of the storage section is cut off the body of the storage section when the pouch container is opened, thereby defining a discharging opening by which the inside and outside of the storage section communicate. In such a pouch container, a joint part for joining a pair of sheets, front and back, forming the storage section is formed between the storage section and the discharging opening defined when the pouch container is opened. Thus, a flow limiting part, which limits the flow of the stored contents flowing toward the discharging opening, is formed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
